STATUS: Project with plots in sales
TEAM: arch. Luca Fornaroli, Giulia Valentini eng.
The place has unique characteristics that makes it particularly attractive for kiters all over the world and for all those who want to spend their quality time in the most authentic and genuine Brazil side.
The intention of the project is to gently develop the area without going over the nature of the place.
The basic idea is to safeguard the palm grove and the agricultural activity linked to it. But also use and enhance the presence of fresh water, naturally filtered from the upstream sand, through bathing areas that can effectively optimize the use throughout the year of the overabundance of rain water from the monsoon season in the supplying accommodation and services.
The study carried out therefore minimizes the deforestation, increases the presence of fresh water, offers new services for locals and tourists, thus becoming a sustainable spin-off for the development of the village.
LIVING THE EQUATOR HOUSE
The Living the Equator House is our idea of living specifically along the Equatorial Line. Its shell made by a circular perimeter in brise soleil and palm leaves roof creates a protection filter that calibrates the external elements from outside to inside. The philosophy is to emulate a minimal umbrella that defines the perfect balance between the living in the wild side, in touch with the land, the rain, the sun, but always remaining in the healthy and in the comfort zone, being and feeling safe. Last but not least this unit is design to be completely self indipendent on energy level, while the garden inside is nourished by the rainwater recovery system and produce the typical exotic fruit.
